Julien Langlois a reçu le prix poster décerné conjointement par l’European Physical Society (EPS), l’International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) et le journal Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion, pour son poster intitulé « Light dragging in moving magnetized plasmas» présenté lors de la dernière conférence annuelle de la division plasma de l’EPS en Juillet à Vilnius (Lithuanie). Julien Langlois est doctorant en dernière année au Laplace dans le groupe Grephe, sous la direction de Renaud Gueroult. Ses travaux de thèse s’intéressent à l’étude théorique de l’effet du mouvement sur la propagation des ondes dans les plasmas, dans le cadre du projet ANR WaRP.
Julien Langlois received the poster prize jointly awarded by the European Physical Society (EPS), the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) and the journal Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion for the poster « Light dragging in moving magnetized plasmas» he presented at the last yearly meeting of the plasma division of the European Physical Society (EPS) held in July in Vilnius (Lithuania). Julien Langlois is a PhD student at Laplace in the Grephe group, working under the supervision of Renaud Gueroult. His thesis work focuses on the theoretical study of the effect of motion on waves in plasmas, as part of the WaRP ANR project.
