Fields of Scientific Interest:

  • Modeling and diagnostic of electrical gas discharges sustained in microwave fields: Surface wave sustained discharges (SWD), Dipolar microwave plasma sustained by ECR;
  • Physics of gas discharges maintained at high gas pressures: microdischarges, SWD, phenomena of radial discharge contraction;
  • Deposition and characterization of thin dielectric layers. Study and control of powder formation during the plasma assisted deposition process.
